You should braid or plait your natural hair so that you can hide it better underneath your hair wig. The smaller the braids are and the closer to your scalp, the better. You could also consider having a professional stylist install the wig for you.
You can wash your human hair wig as you would your natural hair. Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, combing through to remove any knots. Finishing with argan oil will help to rehydrate the hair and bring back the shine.
Keep your synethic wig clean by washing it around once a week and only use a gentle shampoo and condition (our RiRi Shampoo and Conditioner Bundle is perfect). Store the wig in a bag when you're not wearing it - this should keep it from becoming tangled.
We don't recommend applying heat to synthetic wigs (or extensions). Unless it's specifically stated, the synthetic fibres aren't designed to withstand the high heats of styling tools, and you risk damaged the hair. Instead, try plaiting the wig, or purchase a pre-styled curly wig (we love our RiRi Human Hair Body Length Wavey 20" Wig!).
